Kevin C. MooreFor nearly a decade, Kevin C. Moore has been a powerful ally for movers of every shape and size. His unique approach relies on forces—gravity, inertia, friction—rather than bones and muscles as the fundamental units of human movement. The result is a simple and effective method for reducing pain, increasing performance and helping people of all athletic abilities, from elite to infirm, reach their highest potential.
Kevin started out in biochemistry before becoming a professional actor and dancer. He certified as a Pilates instructor in 2005 and quickly built a devoted following. Pilates was only the beginning, however, and Kevin built upon his training with movement methods like the Alexander Technique, the Franklin method and tai chi, while developing partnerships with the giants of the fitness and rehab industry. Kevin's clear, engaging teaching style empowers regular people to understand their bodies, love them and use them well. Rain is excited to host Kevin's Pain-free Yoga: Essential Biomechanics for Yogis on Sat, June 4th from 11 - 4:30 pm. Click here for more info and here to sign up. |
